The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC)

TARC

Year after year approximately 5,000 students from across the nation come together to out think and out fly their fellow competitors for a chance to win a share of $100,000 in scholarships and prizes in the school-year long endeavor – The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC).

Under the watchful eye of our nations’ greatest aerospace and astrospace entrepreneurs, engineers, astronauts and government officials; some of our brightest students will bring scientific and mathematical principles to life as they design, build, launch and present their custom-made model rocket. Only the top 100 teams will make it through to present at the national fly-off in Washington D.C. Only one team will go on to represent the United States in the International Rocketry Challenge in London for the International Rocketry Challenge!
