Every year approximately 5,000 students from across the nation come together to out-think and out-fly their fellow competitors for a chance to win a share of $100,000 in scholarships and prizes in the school-year long endeavor – The American Rocketry Challenge (TARC).

Under the watchful eye of our nation’s greatest aerospace entrepreneurs, engineers, astronauts and government officials; some of our brightest students will bring scientific and mathematical principles to life as they design, build and launch their custom-made model rockets. Only the top 100 teams will make it through to the national fly-off in Washington D.C. Only one team will represent the United States in London for the International Rocketry Challenge!
