    Terrific flier, but…

This is a super little rocket – my sons first rocket (though I cut the fins out) and a great starter kit since one doesn’t bother with motor-mount or recovery gear.
Launched with 1/4A3-3T and the little bird went out of sight – luckily it was windless and landed within 12′ of the launch site. I’d recommend going with a small engine and launch in a green, grassy field to facilitate recovery. Very fun to store this one next to your Mean Machine!

    ?

i just have a question, how are you supposed to build this thing? i do not see any wings in the picture ESTES NOTE: Rocket has 3 fins and the rocket is very small, only 4.5″ tall.

  3. nobody

    funny but cool

swift is the smallllllllest rocket ever! it is so small that when it is done it pops out the engine and just floats down to the ground!
I would recommend it for rocketeers who have a few rockets already because you have to cut out the fins. it is totally coool!!

    EZ!

this rocket is a good beginners rocket but recovering it may be tricky

  5. boyleroy

    Thrill Ride!

Glued it all together with my daughter and launched it for the whole family. Great little design – very light – high flier!

  6. estesman09

    awsome

i launched this rocket within a day of building it and it worked perfectly

  7. Scout26

    Lots of Fun

A fistful of inexpensive engines and a nice afternoon makes this a really fun rocket.

    SWeetness

this rocket was very fun to assemble and fly.

  9. Elliot

    Little but powerful

This rocket can be assembled about as fast as your glue can dry. And will amaze any beginner, but wind can affect it easily in flight so look out for trees!

    Awesome Rocket

This was the first rocket I ever got and it was so
easy to assemble. It’s about as tall as a lightbulb and flies amazingly
