    Not Sure.

I launched my Sky Twister 6 times. On two of the launches the nose cone drifted much further away and was not easy to find (possibly because it is black). I think I will stick with the conventional recovery system.

  2. Michael

    Great but opps

Bought this rocket and it did well until it lawn darted on me because the blades didn’t come all the way out. Just has it for few months deciding whether to get another one. It is a blast with the new comer kids at our club launches.

Great rocket, might be better with streamer

Sky Twister went together very easily, and the attachment of the blades to the nose cone is clever and straightforward. Flew the rocket three times today, two B6-4s and one C6-5, and she flew straight and true each time. Unfortunately, despite careful packing, parachute only opened once, resulting in two nosedives into the ground (and damaged body tube). As others have had this problem as well, I’d recommend replacing parachute with a streamer to make recovery less risky. Otherwise, love the rocket, especially the “helicopter” nose cone recovery.
