  1. Rocket Girl

Very Easy to build and flies super high !

I have to say this is one cool rocket , easy to build and goes super high . I recommend 1/2A engines to start , An A8-3 makes this thing sail .. With the C6-5 you better be in a really big feild and have multiple people watching for it to come back down . Over all a very cool rocket !

  2. Shade

This was my first rocket ever. I’m twelve and I made this rocket in class. I just flown it today, the rocket went so high that me am my friends lost track of it until it almost hit one of them. =D

  3. cooldude

    feild size

as in other reviews, this rocket goes high. i have launched 3 different ones, and don’t have any of them. make sure your field is big!

  4. Mr. Teacher

    Great for Classes

I build these with my high school physics classes for some end-of-the-year fun. It takes less than a week’s worth of classes to build.
Very high flier, even with A8-3’s. Very hard to see at altitude. I recommend 1/2A motors for use with classes, particularly in windy country.

  5. Eric

    Good flyer

Easy to build flies straight and hard to keep track of during flight. Lost rocket but luckily somebody found it.

  6. T.J.

Great rocket. Goes very high, but is hard to recover. Get this. You will be satisfied.

  7. Ron

    Great rocket

I too had this rocket as a kid in the early 80’s and it was one of my favorite. I dont think I used anything higher than a A8-3 as it went high enough with that alone. I’m glad Estes still has it available in their fleet.

  8. Carey

    Great Classic Rocket

I built this as my first rocket…30 years ago! I loved how high it flew back then. Glad to see it’s still in the Estes fleet!

  9. jason

    Out of this world!

Literally! I don’t think it came back down. First flight with a C6-5. My daughter and I painted it bright pink. Just a stream of white smoke and it dissapeared into the clouds. Easy to build and does fly high and straight.

  10. Great!!

Easy to build, fun to fly, and flies VERY high

When I got this product, I just wanted a high altitude beast. That’s exactly what I got when I first launched it with a C6-5. It is very easy to build and flies straight. WARNING: This is VERY hard to spot at high altitudes.
