  1. Sine Nomine (verified owner)

This kit is an easy build and a stable flier. Paint the plastic parts separately – the engine nozzle is really hard to paint otherwise. My only issue is with recovery – the parachute is small and doesn’t do much. Even if it fully deploys, it’s basically a glorified streamer. I’d either put a bigger chute or just switch to a streamer.

This rocket is a great build, and even a greater model to launch. I flies straight with excellent stability. I suggest you airfoil the fins and add fillets. It follows the Model Rocket Books perfect stable chart.

    Look great, flies great

Great looking scale model project that flies well. Easy, straight forward construction. Glad this model was brought back.

can’t wait to get this one – again

Still have this rocket from more than 20 years ago – one of my favorites. Will purchase a couple when they are available. How about the BBII?! My all time ESTES favorite…
