    A great birthday gift!

I bought this for my daughter for her 12th birthday. With my 1970s experience and her intelligence we had the Amazon in the air in a cppl hrs. She loves rockets as much as I do/did now. We flew all afternoon and built the crossfire the next cppl nights in between running out to fly. Buy plenty of engines, this set never looses it’s fun.

    Great First Time Rocket kit

I bought it for my 8yr old son and I to build and launch. Launched the Amazon this past weekend, great fun, easy to build! Looking forward too the crossfire launch next!

  3. Ryan

    perfect launch set

the tandem x launch set is fun and easy to use. the amazon builds slightly faster than the crossfire but the crossfire will fly higher. both rockets are great and they as well as the launch pad will last forever.

    Excellent Place to Start

I thought that I’d enjoy picking up a hobby I enjoyed as a child, so I started with this set. This one seemed to offer the best variety and value compared to the other launch sets and I wasn’t disappointed. Both kits are easy enough to assemble (although I forgot how terrible I am at painting) and fly well. Don’t underestimate the power of your engines! Even a B is enough to put the Crossfire almost out of sight.

    Sweet buy…

This is a WHOLE KIT, I purchased it because there is no better way to show you a difference between an EZ1 skill level and a skill level 1 rocket, and provides the launch kit all in one inexpensive package. YOU WILL NEED to still purchase plastic cement and craft glues, the motors, recovery wadding, and have 4 AA batteries.

  6. BigRIJoe

    Best launch set Ever

I bought my first Estes launch set in 1957. This launch set, with it’s choice of two very different rockets, is the launch set I’ve ever seen Estes offer.

  7. Rocketeer

    Great launch set

Ive built all the rockets(ive messed up on the cross fire a little bit) And they still work great!:D

  8. T dub

    Amazing

Have not built the cross fire yet but the amazon is awesome. dad and I went out for the first few shots there was a slight wind so we put the launch pad at an angle and shot it The rocket went straight into the corn in our back yard

    Great deal

Was shopping with my 7 year old nephew and spotted this on the shelf. Hadn’t built a model rocket since I was in high school but thought it would be fun for my nephew. The Amazon E2X was so easy to build that even a 7 year old could figure it out and the Crossfire ISX allowed me to call up my long dormant modeling skills. Both models were excellent fliers and the launch system worked well.

  10. Sam

    Great starter kit

This was a present for me and my son. The Amazon was perfect for him cause its assembly is straight forward. Countless hours of quality time spent together and he and I really enjoy it.
