  1. William

    Iconic rocket kit

Almost every rocketeer I know has a BB in their fleet. I’ve had quite a few, and a few of the variants. This is a low and slow, straight-flying gem.

  2. Mikey Taco

    AMAZING

I don’t like the new paint scheme, I like the one from the 80’s, but whatever it looks like doesn’t matter the great thing about it is it flies great.

  3. samman

    aaawwweeessssoooommmmeeee

This thing is amazing!. I launched mine three times and it worked perfectly. It was my first rocket so I had a little trouble but nothing huge.

  4. Been there done that

    Best rocket ever owned

This thing is a classic! It is great for the first time builder and pros alike. It may not be the highest flying by building it from scratch gives you the best sense of accomplishment ever! Everyone should own one of these classics!

  5. cooldude

    good for anything

my teacher retired this year, and i wanted to give him something special. i got a Big Bertha and had the whole class sign the body tube. it is good for mildly windy days.

  6. Mike

    Good first rocket

This was my first rocket over 30 years ago. I performed flawlessly until of course it got stuck in a rather large tree.

  7. Joeschmo

    Great

In my opinion the Big Bertha is a great, fun rocket to have, it is fun to watch when launching, and lands smoothly. Building it is also a pleasure, and a challenge. This is another one of Estes great products! Very pleased.

  8. Hackwood

    Very nice

I “happened” upon an older “Super Big Bertha” and this thing is fun. Not the fastest or highest flier, but straight and true and very easy to track. Everybody should get one of these. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

  9. doug

    tons of fun

slow takeoff straight flying and easy to follow. recovery is easy to track just don’t aim into the wind, it’ll weather vain on it’s own. oh i forgot the best part, you get to build it yourself.

  10. joey

    AMAZING ROCKET

this roket may not be “snap together”but this rocket is one of estes’s BEST rockets
