    Awesome Beginner Rocket

I purchased this rocket about 5 years ago. Still holding up. nearly every Memorial Day I launch it for a church outing; probably at least 6 times each outing. I have been able to allow numerous people to launch it, kids love it, adults love it. It goes high enough to be excited about it but not so high that its tuff to get back (lost a few that way). I normally run the B engines but was thinking of moving up for next year. we shall see!!

    Great First Build

If you are just starting out or moving up from E2X and RTF rockets, this model is a great way to get started. It is definitely on the low end of skill 1 difficulty. The build itself is straightforward, painting is a snap (you only need red paint), and the self-adhesive decals are easy to work with. Even though the build isn’t hard, the finished product looks great in spite of the limited amount of work required. The rocket itself is very sturdy and stable in flight, but won’t get too high thanks to its diameter and weight. I happen to like the kits that have an advertised height of about 600 feet best, as you can get all the fun of C engines without losing sight of your rocket (or losing entirely!). The fact that it’s a scale model is a plus, too.

    First Rocket

This was my first rocket EVER! It is no doubt one of the best rockets for starters and is what got me into rocketry. This is what started my path as I hope it will do the same for you.

    Awesome kit all around

I’ve built several of these kits with my students, and they always fly very well. Put a B or C motor in them and they fly great!
