If you get one thing out of this kit, it’s versatility. You can launch using everything from an A to an E. You can launch with a payload or not. You can launch with one chute or two. Plenty of options.

Building the kit is straightforward. Flying can be a bit tricky. Getting two chutes packed in a smaller tube is a bit dicey. My first flight, I used a standard engine with the standard engine mount, but I neglected to put the E spacer in. The mount drove itself into the body tube and didn’t properly eject the chutes. The egg’s chute deployed, but the rest of the rocket came straight down at full speed. It survived intact but it took a nice core sample of the turf. Oops!

    Good flyer

Used recommended motors without problems. Very impressive flyer with an egg, Ok, I used a hard boiled one….

This is a very cool rocket! I am waiting to launch it with an ‘E’ engine. I love its egg cradle, it is pretty cool!
