Excellent kit. Make sure you sand the plastic cone well so the paint will stick. I had to learn that novice mistake myself since I havent painted a model since I was a kid.

An excellent kit. Could you bring back the Maxi Brutes? Kids love bigger rockets when they see them
Buffalo Joe –
Excellent kit! I painted mine to look like an actual wartime V-2, added a nylon chute for softer landings. This is an excellent kit! You won’t be sorry spending your money on this one!

Thank you Estes, for the 2nd release of a 24mm motor powered V-2, and 3rd release over all, from the original 18mm motor powered release. Would like to see the other sizes return, both BT-55 and BT-101. Maybe a 29mm powered V-2, super detailed, for more shock, awe and Cert.1 possibility?

Well I must say I got the kit as a belated birthday gift. All I can say is WOW. Its gonna take some time but crossing fingers for success.
