    Fun to build and fly

I have had a couple of these over the years. (lost my first one years ago) Its a great intermediate build. Take your time with the decals, when they are set correctly they look great. Don’t forget to give it a few coats of clear spray afterwards.

    Beautiful rocket and flies high

I enjoyed building this rocket very much. It looks great. Also it flies very well. Stick a C engine in it and see how high it goes!

  3. Walter

    Looks awesome

I can’t wait to build this!

  4. Brenton

    i love it

i love rockets that are based on things like these because they look great and they fly even better. i would suggest buying this kit with the Guardian rocket kit. these rockets are a good match in my opinion.

This one is a great looking scale rocket. The decals make it look good.

    A favorite flier

I have flown the Bullpup more than any rocket in my fleet. I really like the design, and the decals make it really close to a scale model. It flies great on pretty much any standard engine. The last time I flew it, on a C6-5, it stayed in the air for almost two full minutes after apogee, with a great thermal. I even have a 3″ spill hole in the parachute. It’s just a nice flying rocket, and it looks great.

I’m getting back into model rockets after about 20 yrs. This was my first model rocket when I was a kid and I’ll be getting another! was beautiful, durable, and fast!

Well, this little rocket is quite a show! Out of the box the parts and instructions were very durable and the instructions were easy to follow. On it’s first flight on a C6-5, it soared up to about 750 feet! I was astonished that it goes very fast and high. Overall this rocket was a very good, durable, and a good price. I hope to see Estes making more of these amazing products of theirs!

    Great rocket!

Very fun to make – parts are well made and instructions on the money; plus the decals really make this scale model look authentic. One word of warning, make sure to launch it straight up – I gave the launch rod a bit too much angle on a semi-windy day and it took off like a missile and will the lift the fins provide, it goes much further horizontally than vertically (it was a 15 min walk to recover it). Also, be careful with the nosecone/recovery system attachment – it broke on me (luckily the rocket survived which speaks well to its durability), so I had to drill small holes into the nosecone to reattach the shock cord and chute. Angled straight, this little guy really puts on a show in the vertical domain!

i had one of these and loved it. i would launch it every time i went out. it leaves the launch pad at amazing speed and flies straight. loved it.
