You’ll have this rocket built in a couple of hours. Looks great painted jet black. Unfortunately, mine caught fire on launch, so I have to replace it.

  2. Brian

Built this kit almost 40 years ago. Probably flew it more than any other rocket in my collection. Good to see it back.

  3. jack

it is like bull pup but bigger with more fins and no boat tail

  4. Jimmy

This kit is fun to build and a must to have. Great looking Pattern markings on the fins make it an eye catcher on the field.I will build another one just to have for show. Fun to fly.

  5. Rocket Guru

The Estes Nike-X reminds me of the Estes Stiletto, but with 1 more additional fin. Flights are straight, with little oscillation. Real nice rocket to scale up and am considering 2 staging the Estes Nike-X, with an E12-0, 1st stage and a C6-7, 2nd stage, but will need a GPS tracker and additional nose weight, or all will be lost.

This rocket is truly a work horse I have flown it 20 plus times and it just keeps going. I be leave the low weight to thrust makes it ideal for durability for many many launches. Worth every penny and effort to build it nice too when you fly it so much. Heck i cant find anything to complain about this rocket….its just that perfect.

Thanks for brining it back! The Nike X is a large, sharp-looking rocket. It not only looks good but flies great. A very stable design. The abundance of fins give it a real attitude! I’m proud to own, build and fly this one!

    Nike X

This is a great scale like rocket of the Nike Zeus.
I had this kit back in the 80s and will have to buy 3 of these kits when it gets released from Estes again. Looking forward to this.
