  1. Rocket Guru

The Estes Astron Explorer reminds me of an older kit from Estes called The Astron Trident, was 31.6 inches long and 18mm motor powered. The Aston Explorer looks more aerodynamic with more detailed nose cone and up powered to 24mm, nice touch Estes, although I would upgrade the motor retainer to their screw type and extend the motor tube. Love the ducting ejection baffles.

  2. Tjsnyder1968@yahoo.com

Just completed my Astron Explorer was fun & challenging build. Instructions were excellent. Building jigs worked perfect, model aligned correctly. Paint & decals complete the rocket!!!
Launched rocket-flew height and straight, recovery system (channeling ejection gas out & back in) worked terrific.

To anyone who wants something different and great flying rocket to a look at Astron Explorer!
