Ever wonder what the view is like from 900 feet high? Well, wonder no more! The Estes Astrocam® flying model rocket allows you to to capture audio and video from a rocket in flight. The Estes Astrocam® is a marvel of rocketry design combined with twenty-first century electronic miniaturization. It comes equipped with its own high-definition digital video camera and a specially engineered nosecone to house the camera during flight. The video footage is so clear and realistic, it’s almost like being there!
WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Clear tape. (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding. Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).

Seen one launch and I am wondering since the cam mount for this rocket is for BT50 body tubes, will there be additional mounts in the near future for other ESTES body tube sizes, or will must we fab up our own? Please reply back and I will purchase one from ESTES. Thank You.

Currently there are no plans for additional built in camera mounts, but we do offer the Universal AstroCam which can be strapped to most of our tubes.
