Let customers speak for us
from 1383 reviewsThanks for bringing this one back. It’s a great design and a challenging build that I’m looking forward to.

Estes will motivate people of all ages to expolre more of what model rocketry has to offer.

Had a couple parts missing out of my Saturn V Skylab. Instant response when reaching out for the missing parts. Honestly, completely rare to have such good customer service and prompt responses, i was shocked, but in a good way!!!!!
I'm not big on social media, or acolades in general, but, to see your enthusiasm over the re-issueded clear payload rocket I've been seeking is, profoundly "a-pay-it-forward" moment!

What a great calendar! The images are crisp and clean and truly enhance the love of soace exploration and rocketry!

This rocket was AWESOME! The Doorknob was a snap to put together and looked great. The paint job is a little tricky, and BTW you should use painters tape (because masking tape hurts more than helps) . Oh and if you are using motor adapters, do not use D12 -5s! There isn't enough juice in there to warrant 5 seconds of delay. It shot up about 200 feet, made a nerve racking nose dive, then deployed the parachute about 50 feet above the ground. Needless to say, this bad boy is pretty awesome!

I had to replace a section of my "Super Big Bertha" that got damaged . I cut the damaged section out, and with the appropriate tube coupler, replaced the removed section. Some Kryon and trim tape , good as new!

The kit was complete & the balsa parts were cleanly cut. I recommend going thru each step without gluing to get the right parts in the right place.
The rocket/glider connection is unique, and very strong yet smoothly releases.
I triple filled each joint then glazed all of the balsa surfaces with a thin cyanoacrylate glue to strengthen the balsa wood without adding much weight.
I used a 2-step epoxy clay to fashion a tail weight to securely balance the glider.

a beautiful and accurate showpiece that also flys!

It’s been 30 years since I’ve built or launched a rocket. Many exciting new upgrades and models. Quality has only gotten better.
Look forward to future orders.

This is a nice looking rocket! Can't wait for the now to melt and give it a first flight.

Easy build, definitely worth the price. I just can’t wait to fly it.
