Nice lil' build, in the vein of the Mini Der Red Max. A quickly build and should be fun to fly. I upgraded to a kevlar shock cord, but hey... that's how I swing. It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise to see this released and I'm VERY pleased to see the recent quality expansion for 13mm motor fliers.
Love the shirt! Great design and comfy. It arrived just in time for me to wear it to the last launch of our club's flying season... and it turns out I wasn't the only one sporting the stylish yellow and black. Would love to see more shirts based on Estes classic fliers - Interceptor? Mars Lander? Orbital Transport?
Great value for the price . Can’t wait to start building
A great way to repair my Mean Machine from a launch CATO
A cost effective way to repair my Mean Machines after a hard landing and a pad CATO.
Looks like a good build
When I was growing up in the 1970s, would order via mail using dad's checking account, a couple weeks later got the package. Very quick turnaround, great service. I wanted to scratch-build a Goddard, but didn't have the skills. This kit with the carbon-fiber kite spar, pre-finished tubes, stick-on shock cord mount, using superglue that didn't exist then, should be a cinch!
Has everything you need. Motors, wadding, igniters.
This is really good; read it twice already. It meant a lot to me. To an 8 year old in 1965, Mr Estes was the epitome of cool. I'm 70 now and never stopped building and launching. It brought back so many great memories.
Looks great works great
Great looking shirt, good quality, sharp graphics
Great rocket with a glider. My son and I had a great time putting it together. It's pretty easy to put together and fly. My 9 year old son needed some help putting it together but after doing that, he flew it pretty much by himself. Use the recommended engine size as bigger ones will cause the rocket to go in the direction of the glider and go sideways instead of straight up.
I recently got back into model rocketry after 20 years. My father used to build them for me when I was a child. Now I'm building them for my son. I got the rocket and engine mystery box. What a great deal!!! Thanks Estes for helping me relive some of the magic of my childhood and live vicariously through my son.
I really like that it is threaded so it comes apart. Its easy to pack. Maybe if it came in a case. That would be nice.⁹
Arrived right on time. Haven't put it together yet but it's going to be fun building the replica of Robert Goddard rocket.
