I got my first Estes rocket in 1968. I now buy them for my grand-children. Looking through the catalog really takes me back! Great company-great rockets.

I teach model rocketry to kids in my neighborhood and they love it .
I also teach mathematics on launch and recovery

I recently completed the Vesta Intruder and found it to be a fun and satisfying project. The cool Sci-Fi theme is something different and it gets noticed on launch day. I painted mine with a green and copper colorshift paint that really pops in the sunlight and it flies great on a D12-3 .

I have been collecting and building estes rockets since the early 1970s. I always enjoyed the scale models from the NASA program. I have pretry much every scale model rocket estes has every made in my unopened collection with exception of the Gemini rocket. I would love to see the original Gemini rocket become available again, along with the x15. I do have one of the original x15 rockets still sealed in mint condition, but will not build it until I have another. Thanks Estes for a lifetime of model rocket fun.

I ordered the new Estes Rocketry Catalogue and I own a catalogue from last year. I have yet to look into it but I hope to do so very soon. From the outside it looks very inviting. I know that I will learn a lot and admire it for a long time. Thank you for sending it to me. I hope and pray for all rocketeers, both amateur and professional. And to all space scientists and NASA flight engineers. Amen.
