Was a fun build and is quite a capable rocket to try some bigger motors than the normal Estes motors.

Filled in spirals on the tube, epoxy the fins in and added epoxy fillets, finished off with a few coats of spray paint.

First launch was on an Aerotech F22-7J Reload Kit up to a little over 1000 ft using Jolly Logic Chute Release at 300 ft. Rocket recovered just fine. Would build this one again.

Was a fun build, was pretty easy and looks good out of the box. Flies easy on an E12-6 motor to about 450-500 feet.

A fantastic model to build, detail and fly. The instruction are great and along with online information package, a person can review a bunch of detail of the actual rocket that helps construction.

The Mystery Box came with good model rockets definitely worth more than the asking price.

Another awesome rocket from Estes. I built one of these when I was a child, and now I'm getting my grandsons into model rocketry. Big Bertha is the first step into larger rockets, and it did not disappoint.

I split a box with a buddy, we're getting back into the hobby after years and wanted a stock of models to build! We got the Hi Flier XL, Cherokee E, ESAM-58, Nike Smoke, and Mini Honest John - really happy with these models. It was a good variety of sizes and difficulties.
