Great for Small Fields
This is a good engine for an introduction to Rocketry. They are cheap and can help keep your rockets in the area of a small field or playground. It’s perfect in an Estes Mosquito.

Perfect test engine
I personally use this engine to test the stability of my mini-engine rockets. Combine this engine with the 220 Swift and you have just about the most reliable and least expensive motor/rocket combination available. Thumbs up for sure!

Great little engine
Used it in a small park in the City and had no issues.

Tiny engines for mini rockets
These are tiny little engines that come in packs of four and only work for mini rocket kits. These engines can still cause rockets to fly very high- it just depends on the size and design of the rocket.

Great starter engine
I have been flying Estes rockets off and on for about 20 years. I saw these in my local shop and decided to give them a try and purchased the summit rocket at the same time. I have a wide old airport type area so room wasn’t a problem and we were flying it along with other larger models. I would say it went about 100′ to 150′ . That altitude would be great for a large playground with no wind. I higly recommend this size for a first kit.

Great Playground Engine
So you have the itch to fly but its windy or you have a REALLY small space? No problem! Put one of these in your mini engine rocket and you’re ready to roll! I tried one of these engines in my Firehawk (yes, that kit gets a lot of use! Its a great “engine testing” rocket!) and for a 1/4A I really liked the flight! If you swapped the ‘chute for a streamer you could probably fly this kit with this engine in a suburban backyard! For small kits in cramped spaces I recommend it.
