    Great Upper Stage

I love flying this in the upper stage of my Mongoose in a B6-0/B6-6 combo.

Awsome rocket engines. These engines are very powerful. I would recomend these engines to any rocketeer.

Pick your “single stage” battles carefully…

First, I must give a disclaimer: In optimal wind conditions, I like to make sure that my rockets hit apogee before ejection. To do this I’ll let the rocket arc over apogee if it has to.

That being said, make sure this engine is on the recommended list for your kit. I use this one in my Hornet and if you like ejection on the upside of apogee instead of the downside, this engine is not for you. Similar to using the A8-5 in a single stage engine, make sure that your model is light and aerodynamic before giving it a shot.

I’ve also used this as an upper stage engine in 2 stage models, and the delay is far more appropriate for this application.
