High performance model rocketry that’s a SNAP! When you don’t have lots of time for building and painting a rocket, this is your best bet. Snap together rockets are perfect for young, new rocketeers.
The Dragonite rocket kit literally “snaps” together in minutes with the uniquely molded plastic fin set. The pre-colored body tube attaches easily and the die cut decals are a breeze to apply. In just minutes you will have built your first model rocket that looks like it was made by a pro!
As easy as the Dragonite is to assemble, the main feature is the high performance flight profile which can easily reach altitudes of 925 feet on Estes standard model rocket engines. Recovery of your rocket after each cloud-topping flight is provided by a colorful, 12 inch parachute.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, fine sandpaper and masking tape. (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding. Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).

This was my daughter’s first rocket. We built it together and took it to a local club launch. Started off with A8 motors and then tried out the B6. 6 launches and 6 recoveries. Great starter kit for sure.

great rocket. almost out of sight with a smaller engine.
About 20 minutes assembly, No glue. Read the instructions carefully. Works great., I’d want a dead calm day before trying on of the C engines. the B4 almost put it out of sight. Over 500 ft up.

Amazing
I launched this the other day and it soared super high, about 1000 feet.
