Two is better than one with this Tandem-X Launch Set! This duo features two extreme, high-performance rockets and a powerful beast of a launch system.

Designed with plastic fins, the beginner rocket Amazon stands at 30 inches tall and can be built in an hour. Launching from an Estes standard model 18 mm rocket engine C6-5, this giant can reach heights over 600 ft.

Crossfire ISX, on the other hand, is an Intermediate-level rocket that features a totally streamlined shape with aerodynamic fins and nose cone. At 15.6 inches tall and launched with Estes 18mm rocket engine C6-7, the Crossfire ISX reaches cloud busting heights of 1,150 feet. A 12-inch recovery parachute glides gently in mid-air and returns the Crossfire back to earth to launch again and again.

Both bullets of this Estes Tandem-X Launch Set take off from the sturdy Porta-Pad II Launch Pad by push button command from the Electron Beam controller.

One of the best things I could have ever bought

I love the two parts of the Rockets the issue was that with a cross fire it was a little difficult and at the end I gave up because they would just not work every time I would sand down the nose cone either the nose cone was too tight but once I was able to sign it down the nose gun was perfect the issue was actually the mount it was too tight I painted everything we sanded everything down for the crossfire is too tight the Amazon was really nice but actually I don't have anything to say about it it's just real love I love it

I disliked the box being crushed and partialy opened at the tape seals.

Good Rockets, TERRIBLE launcher

The rockets were of good quality with easy to follow instructions. My boys had a great time building them! The launcher controller would NOT work with fresh Duracell batteries. It was a tremendous disappointment for my boys. Instead I used a 12V drill battery and the wires from the controller with new alligator clips. Worked great and the rocket flew and landed as promised.

If you purchase this kit, skip using the launch controller and use a car battery instead. Otherwise skip the kit and buy the models separately.
