Long gone!

The kit is great. The engine mount has the slots for the fins to mount to. I wish the tube was pre cut for this the template is meh 🫤 and hand cutting makes it a bit harder. You do have to build fins, they are a 3 piece system so you will need small wood clamps to bond these together.

Great Fun for All Us Big Bertha Fans!

Big Berthas have been around a loooonngg time! I remember a friend using one for Spot Landing at NARAM-9. What a hoot! Now we've got the Super Big one with 29mm motor mount. I bought mine partially built at a club auction, and just had to finish it and put in the recovery system. This Bertha is very light for it's size, and makes really fun flights with an E or F motor. And I love the stock white/red decor and really nice decals! It makes me want to build a Super Big Alpha now as a stable mate.
