Two E-Launch Controllers Not Working

I bought the Rascal and Hi Jinks Launch set and the included E-Launch Controller did not work. Tried two different sets of brand new AA batteries and neither worked. Went to our local Hobby Lobby and purchased a second controller and the same results. DID NOT WORK. Please advise!

Rockets away

The original controller we received with the kit did not work, however customer service was amazing and sent a replacement one to us. We had no issues with the second controller and my son was able to send his rocket into the air. He was very excited as were the. bystanders.

Good starting launcher

It works decently: I had a bit of trouble with the starters lighting and the motors NOT lighting. But like any launch controller, it just takes some practice to get it right. It's good, but if you are buying from Estes, I highly recommend buying the e launch controller, because it's got more wire for bigger motors.
