Overview

Sixty-five years and 500 million safe launches later, Estes is still the first name in model rocketry!  Commemorate this milestone with this LIMITED EDITION 65th Anniversary Red Sapphire, a special edition kit that compliments our Blue Sapphire released earlier this year. It follows in the grand tradition of so many excellent Estes kits before it. You’ll appreciate the details: from the nose cone, to the two-piece fins, and down to the conventional paper body tubes and engine mount parts, this is old-school rocketry at its best! Enjoy the traditional hands-on construction and build – you’re going to love the results!

Super sleek, and coming in at nearly 19 inches long, the Blue Sapphire has all the makings of a classic. It’s an excellent and versatile flier able to launch under a wide range of Estes engine types, from ½ A up to C, with a maximum altitude of 1200 feet. You won’t be disappointed with the old-style recovery under a colorful 12-inch parachute canopy, either!

Celebrate sixty-five years of Estes model rocketry with the new, old-fashioned, instant classic kit, the Estes Red Sapphire!
