Great rocket forever

I built mine as my first rocket over 40 years ago and planning to help my 7 year old build one soon.

A blast from my past

I built one of these at a church group in the early 70's and had fun with it. I did a quick search for Big Bertha today and here I am, very seriously considering another purchase at age 60+. Second childhood I guess!

In 1968 or 69, I took a tour of the Estes factory. The conclusion of the tour was a launch of a Big Bertha out back. I remember it like yesterday. It makes me want to build one and go fly it with my grand niece. Estes, please resume the balsa nose cones.
