high quality control, low quantity control

All products seem to be of very high quality and are consistently reliable and functional. What has been lacking at Estes in recent years is quantity control. There seem to be a high number of products at any given time that are out of stock. Foreign production reliance has therefore become an annoying problem for consumers and the company in this area.

Love it! Already used one tube to buid a stand-in replacement for the upper stage of my Hobby Lobby Epic II. since it is NOT an exact copy, I call it the Quepic (Quazi-Epic) II. Unleash the creativity!

BT-20 Tubes plus 3D parts

From 4 tubes I was able to make 8 rocket bodies. That comes out to just a little over a dollar for each. With the free 3D nose cones and fins this makes for very inexpensive rockets.

Make your own engine mounts

Besides making some really cool rockets with BT-20 tubes, I make many standard engine mounts with these.

Good quality parts

I have used Estes rockets for over 40 years. It started as a hobby when I was in grade school. It continued as I raised my own kids and now it will a hobbie I'll share with my grand kids. I do not have a large area to launch here in the New England region so I fly smaller models. I like to build my own designs and the parts that I get from Estes has always been perfect for my needs. Plus they are biodegradable so when I hang one in a tree to dry for a few months. I at least get the plastic parts back to reuse and send up again. Thank you for years of enjoyment.
