R
Ralph Wojtowicz
engineering class project

I purchased the kits for a freshmen level college introduction to engineering project. Our objective is to study several mathematical models of altitude prediction, test the theories using data collected from the rockets, then discuss our findings. The kits are at the appropriate difficulty level for students to finish in about a class day an inexpensive enough for each student to have a kit. The only negative is that the kit website states that C and B motors can be used in the rocket. That is misleading since the motor mounts fit D motors and one must either have spent D motors or purchase adaptors to use the smaller motors. I am grateful that the motor product web pages include thrust/time data plots. We will make use of them in our course.
