Take science exploration to the next level with the PocketLab® Voyager 2 Sensor, a compact powerhouse that lets you collect and analyze real-world data like never before. Whether you are investigating motion, mapping magnetic fields, or measuring temperature and humidity, Voyager 2 combines 14 precision sensors in one easy-to-use handheld device. Capture live data during close-range experiments or record in-flight measurements to the onboard memory for post-launch analysis.

Now includes a 3D print file for an optional rocket sled. This custom sled holds your Voyager 2 securely in your rocket’s payload section, preventing movement during flight. After purchase, the 3D print file will be sent to you by email. The sensor can also be used without the sled; just secure it using foam, wadding, or another suitable material.

  • Collect and Analyze Data: Stream real-time measurements within Bluetooth range or record data during flight for later download.
  • Cross-Platform Compatibility: Works with iOS, Android, Chrome OS, Windows, Linux, and Mac OS devices.
  • Bluetooth 4.0 Connectivity: Wireless operation ensures easy setup and short-range data streaming.
  • Extended Battery Life: Rechargeable lithium polymer battery provides up to 20 hours of continuous use.
  • All-in-One Multi-Sensor: Measures acceleration, angular velocity, magnetic field, position, velocity, orientation, temperature, pressure, light, humidity, and more.

Overview

The PocketLab® Voyager 2 Sensor brings advanced science tools right to your fingertips. Designed for curious experimenters and dedicated learners, this device allows you to explore a wide range of scientific principles in real time. With 14 precision sensors built into one compact unit, you can collect data on acceleration, angular velocity, magnetic fields, light, humidity, and more without bulky lab equipment.

Powerful Multi-Sensor Performance

Voyager 2 improves upon the original PocketLab Voyager with higher accuracy, faster sampling rates, and a new quaternion orientation sensor. It also features an upgraded rangefinder for more precise position and velocity measurements, enabling advanced motion and engineering experiments. For flight applications, data is stored to the onboard memory during launch and can be downloaded later for analysis once the rocket is recovered.

3D Printed Sled File Included

After purchase, you will receive an emailed link to download a 3D print file for an optional Voyager 2 sensor sled. The sled is designed to hold your sensor securely inside your rocket’s payload section, helping prevent movement or impact damage during flight. The sled itself is not included with the product but can be printed using any standard 3D printer.

If you prefer not to use the sled, simply secure the sensor in your payload section using foam, wadding, or another suitable material to keep it stable during flight.

Data Collection and Connectivity

Stream data in real time to your smartphone, tablet, or computer during short-range experiments within Bluetooth range (approximately 30 to 100 feet). For rocket launches or tests that exceed Bluetooth distance, data is automatically stored to the onboard memory and can be downloaded later in PocketLab Notebook for analysis, graphing, and comparison.

Built to Go Anywhere

Compact, durable, and rechargeable, Voyager 2 fits in the palm of your hand and travels easily from the classroom to the field. With up to 20 hours of battery life per charge and a protective storage case included, you can take your experiments anywhere without missing a beat.
