Overview

Whether you’re upgrading existing kits or building a diverse rocket fleet, Estes Shock Cord Anchors make it easy to secure your recovery system with confidence. This 6-pack includes two anchors for each of the most common body tube sizes—BT-50, BT-55, and BT-60—so you’re always prepared for your next build.

No Glue Required

Each anchor is pre-fitted with a strong 3M adhesive strip for a quick, no-mess installation. Just peel, press into place inside the appropriate body tube (positioned far enough back to clear the nose cone), and your anchor is ready for shock cord tie-off. It’s an instant upgrade over traditional paper mounts.

Durable, Flight-Tested Design

Made from injection-molded ABS plastic, these anchors are built to handle repeated ejection charges and long-term use. The threading channel makes tying off your shock cord fast and secure, keeping your recovery system intact through every launch and landing.

Perfect for Builders Who Want Options

This pack is a great fit for educators, hobbyists, and multi-rocket builders who want a flexible solution ready for multiple tube sizes. Keep it in your parts bin and be ready for any rocket kit that comes your way.

These "new" shock cord anchors only arrived a few days ago

These "new" shock cord anchors only arrived a few days ago, and I haven't tried them out yet, but am anxious to do so. I'm an old-timer who has only ever known the process of folding a stiff piece of paper into thirds to create the shock cord mount.
