The Estes C6‑5 engine is a single-stage, 18 mm standard engine crafted for rockets weighing less than 4 oz (113 g) including the motor. Perfect for mid-sized beginner and intermediate rockets, it offers a powerful yet controlled flight experience. Each pack includes three C6‑5 engines, four igniters, and four starter plugs, making it easy to launch multiple rockets with minimal prep.

This engine delivers a total impulse of 10 N‑s, a sustained average thrust of 15.3 N (3.4 lb), and a burn duration of approximately 1.6 seconds—ideal for achieving moderate altitude lift-offs. With a 5‑second delay between burnout and ejection, it gives rockets ample time to coast to apogee for smooth recovery system deployment.
