The Estes Mean Machine has been out since the 1980's,

The Estes Mean Machine has been out since the 1980's, used to weigh 5.8 oz., and is up in weight to 8.5 oz because of the new quick disconnect for easier transportation. The Estes 24mm D & E motors are great for larger launch venues, but for more smoke and fire try modifying to 3x18mm motors. You will have more diversity for smaller launch venues from 3x Estes B4-2s, B6-4's, C5-3's, C6-3 and C6-5's. For larger venues dare to use composite motors such as 18mm C18's, or D9's and watch the Estes Mean Machine go out of sight.

I had one of these in the 70's and I

I had one of these in the 70's and I really enjoyed watching it take off. Every few launches I had to replace a section of tubing because it would buckle from it's weight when I caught it. It came with one parachute, but I made two slightly smaller ones which helped slow it's decent. I painted mine black with gold fins and nose cone. If I'm correct it was supposed to fly to 700 feet. 👍🚀
